Located conveniently across the street from the Edgewater is Winter Garden Fitness where full work-out facilities are available. You are also within walking distance to the Winter Garden Fencing Academy, the area's only school of Olympic fencing instruction. The school is open to the public and regularly holds fencing tournaments.

You are also a one minute walk away from Winter Garden’s Downtown Herb Shoppe & Day Spa where they offer massages, facials, manicures, and pedicures as well as a full variety of herbal supplements.

The history of Winter Garden is on display at the Heritage Museum, Railroad Museum, and the Garden Theatre. Plant Street also has a beauty shop & nail salon, an antique shop, a jewelry shop, a fitness apparel shop, a children’s apparel shop, a women’s apparel shop, and a flower and gift shop, as well as many other unique shops and eateries.

And just a few short miles away you will find Winter Garden’s premier golf course, Orange County National.

In less than thirty minutes traveling west, you can be at the front gate of the Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom Resort and Disney’s other major resorts including The Epcot Center, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and the Disney MGM Studios. Within this same travel time, you can arrive at Downtown Disney, including the House of Blues, Disney’s Pleasure Island, Cirque Du Soleil’s La Nouba, and Disney Quest, the indoor interactive theme park.

In less than thirty minutes traveling south, you can be at the front gate of Universal Studios Orlando and Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Within this same complex is Universal’s nighttime entertainment venue, Universal CityWalk. CityWalk features both the Blue Man Group and Hard Rock Live, as well as many dining options including the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville, the Hard Rock Cafè, NBA City, and Emeril’s among many others.
